Tour description:
Day 1
Arrival in Dushanbe. 
Start city tour with visiting Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, House of parliament, Central Museum and Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. A visit to National park where the biggest National Flag in the world (165m) is situated. 
To feel real life we invite you to visit Asian bazaar. It has colorful goods, fruits and vegetables. 
Dinner in traditional restaurant. Night is in a hotel. 
Day 2
Dushanbe – Norak – Kalai Khum (370 km, 8 hours)
Drive to Kalai Khum village where you can see Norak water reservoir that is called Tajik Sea. The highest point of the day is Shuraba pass (2 267 m) and after drive along Afghanistan border starts. This part of Tajikistan is very beautiful and will impress you by its unique mountains of the famous Pamir Mountains. It’s always called as the ocean of white and blue mountains. 
Drive along natural border – Pyanj River. Home stay. 
Day 3
Kalai Khum – Khorog (240 km, 7 hours)
Drive to Khorog, beautiful tiny city surrounded by Rocky Mountains from all sides. En-route you will meet Pamir people. They are differ from Tajik people, have fair skin, blonde hair and blue eyes. Isolation from other regions by mountain ranges made traditions of local people different from Tajik people. 
Overnight at the guesthouse. 
Day 4
Khorog – Yamg (220 km, 5 hours)
Drive along Tajik-Afgan border to Yamg village. The Pamirs is often called as “the Roof of the World” (3500- 4200 meters above sea level). It’s a territory of wide valleys, clear lakes, unforgettable mountains and bone-dry deserts.

Day 5
Yamg – Yashil Kul Lake – Bulunkul Lake (170 km, 6 hours)
Drive to Yashil Kul Lake and Bulunkul Lake (Murghab district) via Khargush pass (4 344 m).
Bulunkul (translated as “blue lake”) is very interesting lake. Its color changes from violet to dark-blue in the sunlight. You can see yaks in surroundings, a unique species of domestic animals. 
Home stay. 
Day 6
Bulunkul – Khorog (180 km, 5 hours)
Drive to Khorog along Pamir Highway (the second highest mountain road after highway of Tibet – more than 4000m). Here you can meet wild rare animals like grizzly bear, tiger-cat, red wolves, Turkestan rat, snow leopard and others. 
Overnight at the guesthouse. 
Day 7
Khorog – Kalai Khum (240 km, 7 hours) 
Drive to Kalai Khum, the area of high Rocky Mountains (more than 6 000 m.). It’s an unique opportunity to get more about everyday life of local people. Stop in some small villages to communicate with local people. There’re Afgan villages on the other side of the river. 
Home stay. 
Day 8
Kalai Khum – Khoburubot – Dushanbe (290 km, 7 hours) 
Drive to Dushanbe over high Khoburubot Pass (3 252) known as Western Pamir Tract. This part of the country is very beautiful. You will see picturesque river valley, high mountains and rivers. At any place you can stop to make beautiful pictures. 
Arrival in Dushanbe. Overnight at the hotel. 
Day 9
Dushanbe – Airport 
Transfer to the airport for your flight home. 
End of the tour.

According to the program you have 2 nights with home stay. It means that you will stay with local people. Please note that the houses were not built for tourists. Usually it has 3 or 4 rooms and there aren't beds (they provide only mattresses with pillows). Toilet and shower is available only in the garden. 
One room is for 3-4 tourists. Single supplement is available only in hotels and guesthouses during the tour. But it's possible to arrange single room in home stay if you pay for 4 beds (1 bed costs 15$).
